A. Lucile Mccracken-Long

A. Lucile McCracken Long passed away at her home in Austin, Colorado, on May 21, 2021. She was 85 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta. Interment will follow in Mesa View Cemetery.
Lucile was born the second child to John Theodore McCracken and A Lois McCracken on December 6, 1935, in Vici, Oklahoma. She grew up and attended school in the Olathe area. She married Roy H. Long of Cory, Colorado on January 24, 1958; they celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing.
She is survived by one son, Daniel Roy Long and wife Raya Long of Austin, Colorado. She had three grandsons, Lukas Roy Long who preceded her in death, and is survived by Cullen D Long and wife Kenna, and Dustin R Long of Austin, Colorado.
Lucile worked as a telephone operator in Delta. She went to work for the Cory Post Office in April 1968, and retired in January 2001. Roy and Lucile lived their entire lives in the Cory and Austin area. They enjoyed the farm and ranch life working in the soil and with the animals.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
