Abram (Abe) Paul Crespin, longtime Delta and Grand Junction resident, passed away unexpectedly on Wed., Dec. 8, 2021 at St. Mary’s
Hospital in Grand Junction. He was 59 years of age.
A celebration of life service for Abram will take place on Friday, Dec.
17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rivers Churchin Delta with Pastor Greg Farmer
officiating.
Abram was born in Cuba, New Mexico, the son of Jose Miguel and “Emma” Gertrude (Salazar) Crespin. He spent his childhood in Delta, where he received his education and graduated with the class of 1980.
Abram was a welder and hydro plant operator. On May 5, 1984 he married
Karen Ann Meyers in Cedaredge. He was the love of her life. They
are parents to one daughter, Alica Marie. She was his pride and joy.
Abram was a member of the Cross Point Church in Grand Junction. He
loved to fish, hunt, camp and ride ATV’s—just loved spending time with his daughter, grandson, son-in-law, and all of his extended family. He adored all his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife Karen, daughter Alicia, her husband Johnathan and his grandson Theodore Mellor, Abram’s survivors include
brothers: Eugene Crespin (Kay), Michael Crespin (Teresa), David
Crespin (Sue), and Emilio Crespin (Sandy); sisters: Loyola Blair, Marvene O’Reilly (Gary), Julie Lindsey (Mike), and Sylvia Karner, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. His beloved parents and brother Leroy preceded him in death.
