Barbara Dee Hendrix of White Rock ended her time on Earth with us Sunday, July 30. Her great strength, wisdom, and love, will be greatly missed by her dear friends and family left behind.
Barbara moved to White Rock after retiring from over thirty years of teaching to help care for her mother, Zetha Warren, and remained after Zetha’s passing. She was homebound but had family and good friends and neighbors who kept her informed and involved with Los Alamos events and church.
She is survived by her daughter Margaret Hendrix of Hotchkiss, CO, her daughter Elizabeth Ming, who will continue here in White Rock, and son James Hendrix of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her sister and brother-in law, Gail and James Little of Los Alamos, brother Bruce Warren also of Los Alamos, Michael Warren of Secaucus, NY , and many very loved nephews, nieces, and their children across the United States.
The lives she touched cannot be counted. Until we meet again!
