Barry Lee Bullard passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the HopeWest Hospice Care Center, Grand Junction CO, Due to complications from Diabetes. He was 72.

He was born to Richard Lee Bullard and Thelma Cliff Barrett, on December 17, 1949, in Orange, CA He had one sister, Gail Nichols, now deceased.

Barry spent his young life as a "Free Range" Child exploring California. He and his Buddies would load up what they could carry and the parents would check to see if they had enough" scratch", and off they would go returning when hunger won.

Upon graduation in 1967 he joined the United States Air Force and served as the Crew Chief for B52-C141B The Golden Bear. Now a static display at Travis Air Base, CA.

Settling here in 1973 he purchased a home in North Delta and married Peg Parmenter. They were blessed with two children, Christopher and Angela.

As with all newcomers, He found jobs in the Propane Industry, along with side jobs with Holsum Bread, Coke a Cola, farm work, and DMEA.

In 1991 Barry took on the task of sobriety and dedicated his life to Alcoholics Anonymous serving and helping others. Thirty-two years at his death.

1998 brought him a new adventure when he married his friend, Barbara Jay. Remaining together owning and operating Ruby's Floral for over 25 years.

Barry is survived by his wife Barbara, Children, Christopher and Angela, and Grandsons William and Tel Bullard.

Step Children, Andy Mock (Meagan), Amy James (Danny) Janelle Mock (Darrin). Grandchildren, John Mock, Tucker James, Dawson James, Eli Mock, and Charlie Mock.

Arrangements are being handled by Taylor Funeral Services, with a Celebration of Llfe Service Friday, October 7, 2022, atTaylor Chapel at 2 pm.
