Billie R. "Bill" Chaffee

Bill left the confines of earth on Thursday, January 6, 2022 to join his Lord.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Delta Presbyterian Church with Pastor Mike Motso officiating. Inurnment will be at the Mesa View Columbarium.
Bill was born on May 2, 1935 to Orvill Roy and Annie (Lockrem) Chaffee in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
He moved to Colorado in 1956 to do open face mining. He met his wife Mary Jo Oliver in Fort Collins, where they married and produced five sons.
Bill managed or owned several businesses, the last one being the Kwal Paint Store in Delta. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jo, three sons: Anthony (Angel), Christopher of Delta and Vincent of Parachute. Six grandchildren: Joshua, Lake (Anita), Nicholas, Rachael (Cody) Hadley and Marceline. Also two step grandchildren, Jessica and Chris and 2 step great grandchildren, Qyntinn and Ellie.
Proceeding Bill in death were his parents, 2 sons: Curtis and Dean, a grandson Ian, three brothers and one sister.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
