Eckert resident, Charles Owen, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Grand Junction. He was 55 years young.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 31, 2020 at Life Church, 16367 S Townsend Ave, Montrose, CO 81403.
Charles Todd was born on March 28, 1965 to Charles R. and DeLois L. (Darter) Owen in Ozark, Arkansas. The family moved to Ridgecrest, California where he graduated from Burroughs High School.
Charles, an electrician by trade, enjoyed fishing, hunting and sports especially the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Rams. He lived in Eckert moving from Ridgecrest.
Charles is survived by his siblings: brother, Richard (Diane) Owen of Ridgecrest; sister, Lori (Tod) Truitt of Montrose; and sister, Ginger Lehman of Hanford, CA; eleven nieces and nephews and fifteen great-nieces and great-nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Darlis Moorehead.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
