Cleone "Dutch" Kuster, age 77, passed away at UC Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado on March 28, 2025. He was born June 13, 1947, in Council Bluffs, Iowa to the late Gustav and Barbara (Huebner) Kuster. He graduated from Tri-Center High School in Neola, Iowa with the class of 1965. Dutch met his wife, Sharon, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and they were married in June 1967. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1966 to 1968.
Dutch loved farming, hiking, fishing, camping, gardening, and old tractors. He also loved helping his friends and neighbors with anything they needed. But mostly he loved his family and spending time with them.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon (Baker) Kuster, his son Michael (Sheila) and his daughter Jennifer (Kevin) and daughter Kathy (Grosenick) Kuster. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mariah (Jimena), Ryan (Sarah), Abbie (Joseph) and Stormie as well as by his great grandchildren, CJ, Luna, and Blu. He is also survived by his nephew Brian Manhart and his wife Joanne, their sons Dillon and Jake, and his niece Traci Ring and her husband Randy and their children Steven, Marissa and Miranda. Dutch is also survived by his sister, Cleo Blanchard and her children; lifelong friends George Harmon and Betty Darrington; child of the heart Bonnie "bumpers" Orme and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Dutch was preceded in death by his sister, Corinne Kuster, and his lifelong friend and brother, Bill Darrington.
