Cynthia Sue Normand

Cynthia (Cindy) Sue Normand, of Paonia passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 at Delta Health Hospital. She was 58 years old.
Cynthia was born on November 18th, 1962 to James E. Burks and Dorothy E. Olson Burks in Cook County, Illinois. She spend many of her childhood years with her family, including her loving Maternal Grandparents in Karlstad, Sweden. Cynthia attended Davidson High School in Mobile, AL and continued her education later in life by attending trade school to become a nail technician.
Cynthia moved to Delta County in 2000. Her chosen career path was caretaking and homemaking. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and was an amazing baker. Cynthia had a passion for growing plants, gardening, and creating flower arrangements.
Cynthia's kindness, consideration of others as well as her monumental sense of humor will be deeply missed by: Mother, Dorothy E. Burks of Paonia, CO. Daughter, Sarah (Louis) Dawes of Cederedge, CO. Son's, Dantrick Reed of Fruita, CO. Jeremy (Cherie) Burks of Louisiana. Sister, Kathy Hansel of Glenwood Springs, CO. Brother's, Mark (Denise) Burks of Mobile Al and Micheal Burks of Eightmile, Al. Grandson, Gabriel Dawes "Little Romeo" and Granddaughter Peyton Burks.
Nephews, Michael and Matthew Burks of Odenville, Al.
As God holds her in his arms, her family will forever hold her in their hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cindy's name to Autism Speaks or Mosaic.
