Dale Edward Wells was born to Harry Wells and Sarah (Sadie) Millea in Barnum, Colorado on November 11, 1932. Dale was 88 at the time of his passing and a resident of Cedaredge, Colorado.
He is currently survived by his wife June Wells, his daughters, Tracy Mock, and Gale Roberts of Paonia, CO, Theresa Kallsen of Cedaredge, CO, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Dale Wells proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1949 through 1950 and is also a veteran of foreign wars as he served his country during the Korean War. After his Naval service, Dale Wells worked a few jobs, mostly for his brother Glen Wells before going to work for RTD which is where Dale ultimately retired from in 1999. While Dale enjoyed many hobbies, none were as prominent as loving his family. He truly was a family man and poured out so much love, grace and compassion into his daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the kind of man that truly embodied what it is to be devoted to your family.
Dale was preceded in death by both his parents, his two older brothers Forney and Glen, and his oldest sister, Lois. He lived a long and fulfilled life and was able to experience an ever changing and progressing world. Dale embraced life to the fullest and taught his family how to embrace the life that they have been given. He was truly an inspiration and he will be missed dearly.
