Donald Ray Workman passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was 73 years old.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Taylor Funeral Service, followed by graveside service, and then lunch at the Delta Elks Club.

Don was born on April 22, 1951, in rural Montrose to Cleo Wilson and Don Workman. He grew up in Delta, Colorado and graduated from Delta High School in 1969.

He met Barbara Fedler, and they were married on October 25, 1975. They celebrated 49 years together.

He has been a resident of the Western Slope for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, reloading ammunition shells, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. 

Don is survived by his spouse, Barbara Fedler Workman; his children, Carol (Cody) White, Emily (Luke) Mellinger, and Andrea (Danny) Wood; his brother and sisters, Patty Carlson, Laura Smith, and Lester Workman; his dad, Charles Fraser; and his grandkids, Quentin and Anica Wood, Annaliese and Colton White, and Jordan Mellinger.

Contributions can be made in his name to HopeWest Hospice. 

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
