Evelyn Virginia Miller

Lynn was 89 years old when she passed away at her residence in Cedaredge, Colorado on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021.
Evelyn Virginia Miller was born to Helen Virginia (McCandless) Ford and Albert Franklin Ford in Akron, Ohio, on April 11th, 1931. She married the love of her life, Donald Gene Miller, on March 19th, 1949 in Las Vegas, NV. Lynn and Don made their way to Cedaredge, Colorado from Las Vegas, NV in 1974. They had two children, a daughter Linda Diane Bull of Cedaredge, CO and a son, Michael Gene Miller of Orcutt (Santa Maria), CA. Donald passed in 1993. Lynn was a resident of Delta County for 47 years.
Lynn was a member of the Cedaredge Community United Methodist Church. She advanced her education at the Delta Montrose Voc-Tech Center. She worked at Delta County Memorial Hospital for a number of years. Lynn volunteered her time at the Cedaredge Community Methodist Thrift Shop and enjoyed watercolor painting.
Lynn is survived by her children Linda (Alan) Bull and Michael (Lenay) Miller, 6 grandchildren: David Miller, Beth Oard, Alison Brinkley, Adam Miller, Brad Miller, Chris Miller, and Sara Corrente, 13 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Carl Ford and grandson Joshua Oard.
Services will be held at the Cedaredge Community United Methodist Church, 210 NW 3rd Street, on April 10th at 11:00 am.
Lynn loved flowers but would also have appreciated a memorial contribution in her memory donated to Hope West (Hospice) of Delta, CO.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
