She was 80 years of age.

A Memorial Service will be held at Mesa View Cemetery in Delta, Thursday Sept. 21st at 10am.

Glenda was born August 15th, 1943, in San Jose California. She spent her childhood in, and around San Jose California.  Her childhood was filled with happy memories of family, horseback riding, and playing with her Terry Lee Doll.  Glenda moved between Colorado and California, several times. She made the final move to Delta, in August of 1993 with her family.

Glenda married Wayne Strange on December 5th, 1964, after just 9 months of dating, they knew they had found their soul mates. They celebrated 33 years of marriage. He preceded her in death in April of 1997 and stories of Wayne remained one of Glenda’s favorite pastimes up to her final months.

Glenda and Wayne adopted their son Tony in April of 1978. Then 7 years later, their daughter Kristi, in 1985. Glenda’s children, and later her grandchildren, were her pride and joy.

Glenda held many different occupations throughout her life. She worked as a bank teller, a key-card puncher, Housewife, delivered newspapers, bookkeeper, grocery store clerk and other positions. Glenda enjoyed reading Danielle Steel books, and staying physically active, even though the last few years of her life; daily walks in the countryside was what she enjoyed.  She loved watching Crime-shows on tv, listening to country music on the radio and dancing.  She spent many nights dancing with her husband and later in life did not miss a chance to dance at a wedding, or maybe even just in the living room after family dinner.    She loved sunflowers, cinnamon candy, and the smell of cherry lotion. She loved her son's cooking, especially the home-made ravioli she and her husband, taught him to make.

Glenda is survived by her Son Tony Strange and his wife Dana of Loveland CO; her daughter Kristi Duran and her Husband Daniel Duran of Hotchkiss CO; Kristi’s children, grandson Ashton Strange, who is attending University of Northern Colorado, grandson Gracesyn Duran, granddaughters Olivnia Duran, Nevaeh Duran, Lynessia Duran.  Glenda's greatest love was her family and any that knew her were blessed by that love and her complete sweetness.  She loved to laugh at family members being silly and just treasured any time hanging out with everyone.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents Tony and Wanda Massano; her husband Wayne Strange; and one brother Ron Massano.
