Harry Delmar Cole, Junior, longtime resident of Cedaredge, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of June 5, 2020, in his home at the base of the Grand Mesa, at the age of 78.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Alondra Cole (maiden name Hoage), five of his children, Marcie Cole, Shawn Cole, Stacey Urband, Heidi McGuire, and Seth Cole, his step-son, Jason Korinek, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his older sister, Marylin Graft. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Harry Cole, Senior, and his second daughter, Wendy Cole.
Harry was born in Denver, Colorado, on August 25, 1941. He graduated from South High School, and started his family and his lifelong career as a structural engineer. In 1980, Harry relocated to Glenwood Springs. Harry owned his own business, Cole Associates, with an office in Cedaredge and a former office in Carbondale.
Harry was known for his love of baseball, particularly the Atlanta Braves and Colorado Rockies. Harry is remembered by family, friends, and acquaintances, for his generosity, kindness, and compassion. He is already greatly missed.
