Inez Timbreza

Delta resident, Inez Timbreza passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at her home in Delta, Colorado. She was 92 years old.
Maria Inez Fresquez was born November 19, 1928 to Ricardo and Margaret Fresquez in Tercio, Colorado. She spent her childhood and attended school in Del Norte, Colorado.
On May 29, 1948 Inez married Phillip V. Timbreza in St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Segundo, Colorado. To this union five children were born. The couple celebrated 44 years of marriage before Phillip passed away in 1992.
Inez was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Delta. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, needlepoint, coloring, most of all she cherished her children and grandchildren. Everyone Inez met became part of her family.
Inez is survived by her sons, Julian (Debra) Timbreza, John (Jackie) Timbreza, and Jimmy (Lori) Timbreza; a daughter, Barbara (Tim) Weitzel; seven brothers and sisters; 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 2+ great-great grandchildren.
Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip; son, Joseph, her parents; several siblings, most recently two sisters, Lala and Mabel.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
