James Lonnie Horn

James Lonnie Horn age 76 passed away September2, 2024 at Delta Memorial Hospital. He was born August 4, 1948, to Roy and Gladys Horn in Roswell NM.

James is survived by Susan Horn, 3 Sons: Michael & Desiree Horn, David & Tela Horn, Matthew & Susie Horn, and 1 daughter Amy & Ben Wear all residents of Delta. 13 Grandchildren: Brittany & Danny Utterback, Sean Horn, Timothy Horn, Caden Horn, Miray Horn, Darrian & Jake Richards, Derek & Kayli Horn, Drake & Shyanne Horn, Vandi Horn, Landen Horn, Kassidy Wear, Makayla Wear, and Brenden Wear, 6 Great Grandchildren: Taylor and Maddox Utterback, Clay and Cole Richards, Rylan Horn, & Myla Wear, and his Sister Darlene Kirk.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Cecil and Steven Horn. James worked for the Uncompahgre Valley Water Users for 20 years and enjoyed the freedom that came with it to be outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, playing poker, and being outdoors. His ability to connect with people wherever he went and make them laugh was truly unique. James will forever be remembered as resilient, kind, funny, and loving. He will be missed by many and the mark that he left in our hearts will last eternity.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cleland Park in Delta, Sunday September 22,2024 from 12-2
