James Matthew Posegate

James Matthew Posegate (60), passed away on October 21st 2023 at Horizons Health Center. He was the husband of Cheryl Posegate. They shared 38 years of marriage together.  

Born in Benson, Arizona, he was the youngest son of Donald Maclin Posegate and Agatha Jean (Ida) Posegate.  He graduated from Marion Technical College. He worked at Delta Memorial Hospital as a Medical Lab Technician.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He enjoyed leather working, model rockets, making fishing spinners, and fishing. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors.  

He is survived by his spouse Cheryl, their children Elizabeth and Jayson, their spouses Paul and Mariah respectively. 5 grandchildren, with one on the way. He is also survived by his siblings Donald, Kate, Dominick, Charles, Lonnie and Leneita. He was preceded in death by both his parents. 

A Memorial Service will be held on November 4th.
