Johnny Lee Floyd

Johnny Floyd passed away unexpectedly at his home in Hotchkiss, Colorado Tuesday, January 6th, 2023. He was 72 years old.
Johnny was born in Hanford, California to Irene Nix and Doyle Floyd. He would move to western Colorado soon after and grew up in the North Fork, graduating from Hotchkiss high school. He was the first employee at Delta Sand and Gravel, driving truck and operating heavy equipment. Johnny enjoyed the outdoors whether it was hunting or fishing or just looking for arrowheads. He also liked playing a good game of darts. He was a member of the Hotchkiss Elks for many years.
Johnny is survived by his two sons, Curt (Brandy) and Clint Floyd, his brother Larry (Gwen) Floyd and 5 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and his parents.
