Joyce A. Raley

Delta, Colorado resident, Joyce A. Raley, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Horizon Care Center in Eckert, Colorado. She was 84 years of age.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at Taylor Funeral Service Delta Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Mesa View Cemetery in Delta.
Joyce A. Richardson was born on November 28, 1936 to Hallie Lorene (Ketchum) and L. Earl Richardson in Fulton County, Illinois. She spent her childhood in Canton, Illinois graduating from Canton Senior High School with the Class of 1954.
On December 28, 1957, Joyce married William “Bill” Raley in Arcadia, California. To this union, two daughters were born. The Raley’s moved to Delta, Colorado in 1983 moving from Monrovia, California.
Joyce was very active in the Delta County Republican Party where she was former Party Secretary. She was also very active in her community where she volunteered with Delta Area Chamber of Commerce and Delta County Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed bowling and politics.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Bill Raley of Delta; two daughters: Helen Edwards of Golden, Colorado and Kathi Raley of Cottonwood, Arizona and her granddaughter, Sarah Edwards of Denver, Colorado.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
