Judy Spiker, 74 passed away on August 21, 2021 unexpectedly from heart complications. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan and grew up in Buena Vista, CO. She moved to Delta, CO in 1987 and was an avid nature lover especially of the Uncompaghre and Grand Mesa Nationals Forests. She loved 4-H as a young woman and received several ribbons in Chaffee County, CO. The Langford/Mear family helped settle several parts of Colorado with engineering innovations.
Judy is survived by her 3 sons, William (Amy) Spiker; and grandson Cody Spiker. Roy Spiker; grandson Devin (Kelly) Spiker; great-grandson Jakson and great-granddaughter LunaBelle; granddaughter Aspen Spiker; and grandson Mason Spiker. Samuel (Robin) Spiker; granddaughter Kamryn Spiker and grandson Ashton Spiker. She is also survived by her siblings Jim Langford and Janet (John) Turner along with several nephews and nieces. Niece Judy Reed and Kate Reed were with her when she passed. The Memorial services will be performed at Mesa View Mortuary, Wednesday September 8th at 10:00 am.
Judy will be greatly missed by her family and friends in the Delta community. She was a dedicated member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Organization and faithfully followed these beliefs.
