June Eileen Broome

June Eileen Broome went to be with the Lord November 17, 2024, at the age of 84. June was a woman of deep faith and her love for God was evident in everything she did. Her memorial will be held at Garnet Mesa Baptist Church of Delta, CO on Friday, November 22 at 10:00 followed by a burial at Mesa View Cemetery and a luncheon at the church following.

June was born and raised in Delta, CO by her loving parents Henry and Emma Brandstadt. She married her beloved Orland Broome in 1967 and celebrated 57 years together. June retired after working 38 years at McKnight’s Jewelers. She loved fresh flowers especially roses, peonies & lilies and being warm and toasty with her gloves and earmuffs on always. J 

She is survived by her husband, Orland, age 95; her oldest son, Mark and his wife Leona of Delta, CO; grandchildren, Markeya & Seth Russell and Mariah & Devon Brown; and great grandchildren Maci, Anna, Declan, Elora, Nash and Raylee; her younger son, Bruce and his wife Camie of Lake Stevens, WA; and grandchildren, Gabriel, Izaia, Brendan, Kylie and Nathan & Taylor Broome; and great granddaughter, Maeve. 

June’s life was a testament to the love and grace of God. Her spirit of kindness and faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.
