Kelly S. Cole

Austin, Colorado resident, Kelly Cole, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Delta County Memorial Hospital. He was 61 years of age.
Kelly Shane was born on November 29, 1958 to William Carlyle Cole and Alameda (Boyd) Curtis in Salt Lake City, Utah. He spent his childhood and attended school in Utah and Arizona.
Kelly was married to Carla Brower (Prosise) for 15 years and had two children with her. They spent many years traveling in between Arizona, Utah and Idaho.
Kelly spent majority of his life with his life partner, Pamela Joy Salas. They have resided in Austin for the past seven years moving from Idaho.
Kelly loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing and shooting. He also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his grandkids and his dog, Salem.
Kelly is survived by partner, Pam Salas of Austin; his son: Timothy Cole, stepsons: Alex (Mindy) Carrillo, Marc (Taylor) Salas and Joel Carrillo; his daughter: Felicia (Tim) Peterson, stepdaughters: Brittney Salas (Daniel Montoya) and Tiffini Salas (Gustavo Bernal, Jr.); brothers: Allen (Susan) Curtis, Eddie Morain, Alfred (Madlyn) Cole, and Randy (Mary Ann) Stevens; sisters: Pat (Dennis) Sykora, Peggy (Tom) Bennett, Evelyn Cole, Lujuana (Frank) Wood, Polly Brown, Debbie (Dennis) Terell; mother-in-law, Gayla Pando; brothers-in-law, Jesse and Sean Marchant and sister-in-law, Shelly Marchant; thirty-four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; close friend, Darrin (Michelle Thompson) Farnes; and many, many nieces and nephews. He was well known as Uncle Kelly.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
