Lillian Anne Rombach, age 92, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away on February 16, 2025.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Delta 10am Friday, February 28, 2025, followed by burial at the Veteran’s Cemetery of Western Colorado in Grand Junction, CO.
Lil was born in Pittsburgh on February 23, 1932. She is survived by her husband, Robert, her children, and her brother, Robert Trautmann.
She lived a full life marked by deep affection for her family.
Lil was born in Pittsburgh where she and Bob met, married, and raised their family. In retirement, Bob and Lil moved to Colorado; they settled first in Glenwood Springs and later moved to Delta. They lived life to the fullest camping, kayaking, traveling, skiing and dancing.
Lil’s love story with her beloved husband, Bob, was one for the ages, spanning an incredible 69 years of marriage. Together they built a life with joy, challenges overcome, and countless cherished memories.
A devoted mother, Lil was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Richard Rombach, Michael Rombach, Annie Holton (Travis), Jeanne D’Antoni (Mike), Timothy Rombach (Tammi), Edward Rombach (Laura) and Jennifer Troestler. Her grandchildren: Thomas Rombach, Daniel Rombach, Hanna Holton, Katie Albia (Nick), Josh D’Antoni, Emma D’Antoni, Andrew Rombach, Jack Troestler and Abby Troestler; and great-grandchild, Oscar Ablia.
Lil’s life was a testament to the power of love and family. Her memory will be treasured and her presence deeply missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
