Lillie Mae Helmick passed away Saturday, December 10th, 2022, at her residence in Cedaredge, Colorado. She was 79 years old.
Lillie was born in Olathe, Colorado on November 9th, 1943, to Wilma Rose (Adelaide) and Hershel Snyder. She went to school in Olathe and Delta, Colorado. Lillie’s chosen career path was as a home health nurse. She started caring for folks at the age of 15. When Lillie wasn’t working, she did enjoy the outdoors – Fishing and hunting! She enjoyed food. She was a true food connoisseur! She did love her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and spending as much time with them as possible.
Lillie is survived by her son Darrell (Connie Chahine) of Cathedral, CA; brother David (Lila) Snyder of Organ/Washington area; niece Lillie grew up with Barbera Bogner of Oral, SD; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Lillie is preceded in death by her parents, son Dion Helmick, brother Tom Harlan, and sister Maryland Cox.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
