Lourdes "Lou" Roseann Fay

Lou passed away 2/4/25 surrounded by loved ones. A memorial service will be held on February 22, 2025, at 2pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Delta, CO.

Lou was born on October, 18, 1961, in Espanola, New Mexico to Eloisa and Reymundo Maes. She grew up in Pagosa Springs, CO and graduated from Pagosa Springs High School. She met Wes Fay and was married on June 1, 1986. They celebrated 39 years of marriage together. Together they eventually made their way to Delta County and would make Delta their home. Lou was happiest when spending time outside gardening, camping, crafting, and spending time with her family. 

Lou is survived by her spouse Wes Fay of Delta, CO; her daughter Anna Barrier of Grand Junction, CO; her siblings Manuel Trujillo, Elaine Maes, & Terri Mael; her grandchildren Brynlee & Bryson Barrier of Grand Junction, CO.

Lou Fay is preceded in death by her parents Eloisa and Reymundo Maes and her brother Leroy Maes.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
