Maria Guadalupe Mendez De Suarez

Our beloved mommy and wife Maria Guadalupe Mendez de Suarez passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, at the age of 57, surrounded by the merciful presence of God. One day cancer unexpectedly arrived at our doorstep, and our mother responded with grace and great strength until the very end.

On August 8, 1967, the world was blessed with the birth of all flowers. That day we were graced with the arrival of a beautiful soul whose love would transcend all boundaries. Maria Guadalupe’s heart was entirely devoted to God and our Virgin Mary. She taught us the virtuous path of living to honor our Lord in everything we do. We will remember her at the sight of all beautiful things - sunsets, stars, hummingbirds, and especially flowers (her garden was her pride and joy).

Maria Guadalupe is survived by her two loving daughters, Maria Suarez Mendez and Sandra Suarez Mendez, her husband, Macario Suarez, her father Juan Mendez and her nine siblings. She is fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of meeting her. Caring for others came natural to her, like one stands up in the morning. She dedicated her life to serving our community leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

We will be holding a rosary and vigil in her memorial on Friday, March 21, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, located at 628 Meeker Street in Delta, Co 81416. The following day, at 12:00 pm, we will hold a service at St. Michael’s Church. After the service, her holy burial will take place at the Olathe Cemetery.

We will gather at St. Michael’s Church after Maria Guadalupe’s burial to celebrate and honor the life and legacy of this remarkable woman. The celebration will commence at 3:00 and continue until 6:00. We would be delighted if you could join us in this meaningful gathering.

Nuestra querida mamá y esposa, María Guadalupe Méndez de Suárez, falleció en paz el 12 de marzo de 2025, a la edad de 57 años, rodeada de la misericordiosa presencia de Dios. Un día, el cáncer llegó inesperadamente a nuestra puerta, y nuestra madre respondió con gracia y gran fortaleza hasta el final.

El 8 de agosto de 1967, el mundo fue bendecido con el nacimiento de todas las flores. Ese día tuvimos la gracia de la llegada de una hermosa alma cuyo amor trascendería todas las fronteras. El corazón de María Guadalupe estaba completamente consagrado a Dios y a nuestra Virgen María. Ella nos enseñó el camino virtuoso de vivir para honrar a nuestro Señor en todo lo que hacemos. La recordaremos al contemplar todas las cosas hermosas: atardeceres, estrellas, colibríes y, especialmente, flores (su jardín era su orgullo y alegría).

A María Guadalupe le sobreviven sus dos queridas hijas, María Suárez Méndez y Sandra Suárez Méndez, su esposo, Macario Suárez, su padre Juan Méndez y sus nueve hermanos/as. Todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla la recuerdan con cariño. Cuidar de los demás era algo natural para ella, como levantarse por la mañana. Dedicó su vida a servir a nuestra comunidad, dejando un legado de trabajo duro y dedicación.

Celebraremos un rosario y una vigilia en su memoria el viernes 21 de marzo, de 7:00pm a 9:00pm, en la Iglesia Católica de San Miguel, ubicada en la Calle 628 Meeker, Delta, Colorado 81416. Al día siguiente, a las 12:00pm celebraremos un servicio en la Iglesia de San Miguel. Después del servicio, su santo entierro tendrá lugar en el Cementerio de Olathe.

Nos reuniremos en la Iglesia de San Miguel después del entierro de María Guadalupe para celebrar y honrar la vida y el legado de esta mujer excepcional. La celebración comenzará a las 3:00 y continuará hasta las 6:00. Nos encantaría que nos acompañaran en esta significativa reunión.
