Marvin Wayne Sreaves, 86, died Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born to William Jesse and Lula May (Anderton) Sreaves on October 20, 1933 in Seneca, Missouri. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Marvin married Peggy Jo Maples on November 28, 1954; she preceded him in death. They had two daughters: Jodena (Urban) and Shara (Oxford). They were blessed with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In 2008, he married Frances Jean Shelley. Marvin was well loved by her two daughters: Linda (Buller) and Wanda (Gibson), three grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren.
He built his business, Ark-A-Tek Corporation from the ground up in Missouri becoming a well-respected businessman and community leader.
Marvin enjoyed using his chainsaw, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and gardening. He loved fellowshipping with friends and making walking sticks. He and Frances enjoyed a full rounded life in three states, spending winters in Tonto Basin, Arizona; always making friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2020 at Cedaredge Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 9221.
