Patricia Mae Cowan

Patricia “Pat” Cowan was a preacher’s wife for 40 years. She loved teaching Sunday school classes for children. She was a substitute teacher in elementary and high school in Vestaburg, Michigan. She taught homebound students in Delta, Colorado. Volunteering in two elementary schools in Delta was a delight.

Her hobbies were horseback riding, hunting, and fishing with her husband, Howard. She loved reading books and making and sending cards.

Patricia graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1950 with a B.A. degree in Journalism. She worked for the Janesville radio station, WCLO, as a continuity writer before her marriage in 1957.

She was preceded in death by her faithful husband, Howard Cowan, in 2021. Her legacy lives on through her daughters Judy (Maylon) Peters and Peggy (Steve - deceased) Moseley, and her grandchildren, Terah Fee, Tiffany (Jesse) Davenport, Nick (Stacey) Moseley and Kristy (Justin) Brown. She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren, Cade, Connor and Canton Moseley, Makayla and Chloe Davenport, and Raegan and Emerson Brown.

A memorial service will be held at Delta Christian Church on March 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Pat requested that any donations be made to Delta Christian Church.
