Paul William Stamsen Iii

On Saturday, April 24, 2021, Paul William Stamsen III, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 79.
Paul was born on January 30, 1942 in Ionia, MI to Paul and Eula Stamsen. Paul is survived by his wife Ann Marie (Carrico) Stamsen, son Paul Jason Stamsen, (wife Marie) and his granddaughter Hannah Elizabeth Stamsen, brothers Peter Stamsen and Patrick Stamsen and his sister Peggy (Stamsen) Osborne along with their families.
Paul explored and traveled around the country. His passion to learn through experience gained him employment in a vast array of fields including a journalist, a bus driver, taxi driver and a volunteer fireman for Aspen Colorado.
Paul went to University to study Education at Western State College of Colorado where he met Ann. On February 8, 1984, they were married and together raised a son, Paul Jason in Delta, CO.
Paul had a passion for the human spirit and a curiosity for life. He was devoted to his Catholic faith. As an active member of St. Michael’s church, he and Farther Mark spent time at Delta Correctional facility. Paul was also a Fourth Degree Knight.
He was known and loved for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
A rosary will be recited on April 29, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, 682 1725 Road, Delta. A Mass of the Resurrection for Paul will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. Michael’s Church located at 628 Meeker St, Delta, CO 81416
