Roberto Chavez-Zuniga passed away December 7th, 2022, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was 55 years old.
Roberto was born on June 10th, 1967, in the town of El Pino, the Municipality of Chalchihuites in the State of Zacatecas, Mexico to Juan Chavez and Elena Zuniga. He worked and lived in Jerome, Idaho for much of his life. He worked as a farm hand on a dairy farm and landscaper when he moved to Colorado.
Roberto is preceded in death by his mother, Elena Zuniga and father, Juan Chavez; his brothers, Salvador Chavez and Jesus Chavez, and his nephew Baudelio Roman.
Roberto is survived by his brothers: Abel, Armando, Adalberto, Manuel, Antonio, and Ricardo; his sisters: Belen, Guadalupe, Maria-Genoveva, and Maria-Herlinda.
Roberto was living nomadically in the Delta, Mesa, and Eagle County areas over the last five years. He enjoyed time to himself but did also enjoy family gatherings. He will be missed.
A viewing will take place for immediate family on Saturday, December 17th, 2022, at 4:00p.m. Taylor Funeral Service’s Delta Chapel."
