Long time resident Robbyn Knowles died suddenly on Feb. 11,2025 in Crawford. She was 79.
At her request, no services will be held. A Celebration of Life and potluck will be held at the Elks Lodge in Hotchkiss from 11:00-2:00 p.m. Sat. May 10th.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Crawford Fire Dept. or the North Fork Ambulance.
Robbyn Arlene Hayworth was born on May 18,1945 in Mt. Vernon. Washington. She was raised in Colorado Springs, CO. by her parents Bert & Grace Hatch.
She married Larry Knowles on June 28,1969 in Security, CO. The couple moved to Crawford in 1974 where they raised their family. Robbyn worked at many jobs through her years. In 1994, they moved to Black Mesa Lodge and worked for Tom McLeod for the next 17 years. Where she enjoyed the things she loved most, the mountains, horseback riding, atving, snowmobiling, spending time with family, and friends, and watching the Broncos. She retired in 2011 and moved back to Crawford.
She is survived by three daughters: Angele (Randy) Rodstrom of Crawford, Tammy (Kenny) Hatch of Pueblo West, Tracy (Tim) Chapman of Highlands Ranch: two sons, Jeff (Kristi) Knowles of Grand Junction, and Grant (Tina) Knowles of Crawford: eight grandchildren, Moriah, Ashley, Xaviar, Jennifer, Tucker, Becca, Brittney, and Courtney: three great granddaughters: Delaney, Harper, and DilynRae, and many nieces and nephews.
