Roger G. Corman passed away July 24, 2024 at Crossroads Memory Care in Delta, CO. He was 85 years old. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 27, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delta, followed by a graveside service at Delta Cemetery. Roger was born in Moline, Illinois to Beatrice Nelson Corman and George Corman. He grew up in Burlington, Iowa and graduated from Burlington High School in 1957. He continued his education at Burlington Junior College and the University of Iowa, graduating in 1962 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served our country in the United States Air Force, primarily in the Titan IIIB missile system, stationed at Vandenberg AFB in California. He met Dorothy in Wichita, Kansas and they were married on August, 28, 1965. They celebrated 58 years together. Roger left the Air Force and worked for Cessna Aircraft in Wichita as a structural engineer until he retired. He was active in his church and the Lions Club, traveled with Dorothy to such places as Alaska, Italy, and the UK, and enjoyed playing bridge with other couples in a group that met monthly for over 30 years. Roger is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Delta, CO; son, Brian Corman of Alexandria, VA; and daughter, Leslie Corman Conley of Delta, CO. He has a granddaughter, Renee, and grandson, Ian. Roger is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Virginia. Contributions can be made in Roger's name to the student scholarship fund at Redeemer Lutheran Church and School, 1000 Pioneer Road, Delta, CO 81416.
