Ruth Irene England

Ruth Irene England passed away 11-29-2024, at her home in Cedaredge, CO.  She was 88 years old.

Ruth was born on 08-08-1936, in Cedaredge to Doris Begor and Charles Henderson.  She grew up in Cedaredge and attended Cedaredge schools.

She met William Russel England, and they were married on December 17, 1953.  They celebrated 47 years together.  They made their home in the Surface Creek Valley and raised their four children there. 

Ruth was a homemaker and then a sales clerk after her children were grown.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Genny Comerer of Cedaredge, Gordon England of Grand Junction, Kathy (Steve) Hinchman of Cedaredge, eight grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russel, her son Kelly, and her daughter Karla.
