Sandra Kay Wiseman

Sandra Kay “Sandy” Wiseman passed away on June 3, 2020 at the Larchwood Inn at Grand Junction, CO. She was 71.
A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Wiseman will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Delta City Cemetery.
Sandra K. Pierson was born on January 12, 1949 in Delta, Colo., the daughter of James N. and Florence G. (Willis) Pierson. She spent her childhood in Uravan, Colo. receiving education in Uravan and at Nucla High School. On April 18, 1975 Sandra married Allen H. Wiseman in Montrose, Colo. Mr. Wiseman is deceased.
Sandra had lived in Grand Junction most recently, coming to GJ from the Montrose, Delta, and Olathe areas. She had held occupations in both nursing and as a bus monitor. She belonged to the Christian church. Sandy belonged to the Rimrock Historical Society, daughters of the American Revolution, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Her other interests included knitting hats for infants in neonatal units and for cancer patients, as well as those who served in the Iraq war. She was a 4-H leader.
Among her survivors are a son, John A. Wiseman (Kim) of Arizona; daughter Kari Wiseman of Grand Junction; and brother Robert Pierson (Debby) also of Grand Junction. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Autom and Benjamin Eddings of Grand Junction, many nieces and nephews, as well as her pug Allie.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and husband Allen.
