Terrence Berne Brown

Terrence Berne Brown passed away peacefully at home on June 27, 2024. He was 80 years old. Terry was born on February 3, 1944, in Davenport, Iowa, to Alta Vivian Ripley and Berne Balmer Brown. He grew up in Illinois and graduated from Community Unit High School in 1962. He served our country in the Air Force as an Airman Second Class and had a career mainly in law enforcement. Terry met Roberta Jean Kratz in 1965 and they were married in 1966. They celebrated 38 years together. Terry traveled around for some time before making his way to Delta County making Delta his home. He had been a resident of the Western Slope for 10 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Christine living in Colorado and Nicole living in Oklahoma; his three grandchildren, Chason living in Oklahoma, and Zavier and Cassadie living in Wyoming; and his great-granddaughter Emery living in Oklahoma. Terry is preceded in death by his parents.
