Terry Lynn Wilborn

Terry Lynn Wilborn 61, of Delta Colorado passed away on November 23rd while in the care of the nursing staff and professionals at Hope West. Terry was born in Colorado in the late 50's to Donnie and Ruby Wilborn. She spent her childhood in Dillon with her brother Joe and their cousins and neighbors learning to love the beautiful Colorado outdoors. The family moved to Delta in the early 70's. Terry married Fred Gallegos on Valentine's Day in 1975.
Terry graduated from Mesa State College in 1993. After graduation she, along with her business partner Donna, started Rimrock Computing. Through Rimrock Computing Terry and Donna worked to innovate and modernize the irrigation water business, and when Donna retired Terry continued their work.
Terry loved the outdoors and spent as much of her free time as she could fishing and skiing and enjoying nature. She also had a passion for horses and horseback riding. Her appreciation for nature and all things wild and free was infectious.
Terry is survived by her parents, Donnie and Ruby Wilborn; her brother Joe; her three children, Lynne Gallegos, Tracy and his wife Danielle Gallegos, and Stevie and her husband John Schohn; and her four grandsons, Shylo Holden, Julian and Emilio Gallegos, and William Tucker Schohn.
Terry preferred to have private services. Her family appreciates the thoughts and prayers of her friends and extended family. She requested that any donations in her honor be made to the Hope West Hospice facility. We would like to give a very special thank you to Mr. Fred Gallegos who was a loyal and tentative friend and caretaker to Terry until the end. Terry was a very special lady, may she rest in peace and live forever in our hearts.
